Required Documents for Azerbaijan Visa
For e-visa applications

- 3x4cm in size, follows the biometric identification requirements
- Completed Azerbaijan visa application form
- Copy of medical insurance certificate
- Hotel booking
- Proof of visa payment
- Applicants below the age of 18 need to submit the following additional documents:
- Notarized copy of birth certificate
- Proof of permission of parents or legal guardian for the minor applicant to travel to Azerbaijan
- Copies of the parents’ or the legal guardian’s identification documents

Azerbaijan Visa Application Steps
For online e-visa applications
- Gather the required documents.
- Fill out the e-visa application form.
Visit the official electronic visa portal to check the Azerbaijan visa requirements and find out if you are eligible to apply for an e-visa.
Proceed to fill up the Azerbaijan visa application form. - Submit the Azerbaijan visa application form online.
- Pay the Azerbaijan visa application fee.
Payments can be made online using credit or debit cards.
For paper applications

The application form must be filled out in block letters.
- Schedule an Azerbaijan visa appointment.

- Submit your Azerbaijan visa application.
Submit the visa application form together with the other Azerbaijan visa requirements such as photos and other supporting documents to the relevant Azerbaijan consulate or embassy.

Azerbaijan Visa Fees
The fee for an Azerbaijan e-visa application is US$25. Visa fees for a single-entry sticker tourist visa is $20 and $350 for a multiple entry sticker tourist visa. Applicants may also need to pay other fees such as service fees that may vary depending on the applicant’s nationality. Rush visa processing is also available for an additional amount. All fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the Azerbaijan visa application.
When to Apply
Applicants are advised to apply for an Azerbaijan e-visa at least three business days before their intended travel date.

Applications for an Azerbaijan e-visa are to be submitted online through the official electronic visa portal. If your country is not eligible for an e-visa, you should call the nearest Azerbaijan consulate or embassy to enquire about the visa application process.

Azerbaijan Visa Processing Time
The processing time for Azerbaijan e-visa applications is up to 3 business days. For paper applications, the processing is within 15 to 20 working days.
For approved visa applications
For approved e-visa applications, applicants will be sent a copy of their Azerbaijan visa on the email address provided during application. Check the visa to ensure all information is correct. If any of the information on the visa does not match the information on your travel document, you need to reapply. The e-visa must be downloaded, printed and shown to border control upon arriving in Azerbaijan.
For denied visa applications
Applicants whose Azerbaijan visa applications were denied can make an administrative complaint or re-apply for a visa at the relevant consulate or embassy.
