Saint Kitts and Nevis and Kazakhstan sign visa waiver agreement for diplomatic passport holders.
In a significant diplomatic development, Saint Kitts and Nevis and Kazakhstan entered into a mutual visa exemption agreement for holders of diplomatic, official, and service passports. The signing ceremony took place on January 26, 2024, at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations in New York City.
Dr. Mutryce Williams, serving as the Permanent Representative to the United Nations for Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Mr. Akan Rakhmetullin, the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the United Nations, were the signatories of this agreement. Under the terms of this agreement, individuals holding diplomatic, official, and service passports from both countries can travel to the other country for up to 90 days without the need for a visa.
This development marks a significant milestone in enhancing diplomatic relations between Saint Kitts and Nevis and Kazakhstan, signifying a new era in their bilateral diplomatic ties that were established in May 2013.
