Morocco and Kazakhstan announce upcoming mutual visa exemption
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Murat Nurtleu, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, announced that the visa exemption agreement for ordinary passport holders will take effect on March 19, 2025.
Deputy prime Minister Nurtleu was invited by Minister Bourita to Morocco, and the announcement took place in Rabat. The two ministers signed the agreement on September 26, 2024, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The agreement seeks to strengthen tourism collaboration and enhance interpersonal and intercultural ties between Kazakhstan and Morocco, while also improving trade relations.
