Algeria and Indonesia sign visa exemption agreement for diplomatic and service passport
Algeria and Indonesia celebrated the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic relations on December 20, 2023, marking the occasion with the signing of two significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) during the visit of Indonesia’s Foreign Minister, Retno Marsudi, to Algeria.
The first MoU focuses on diplomatic cooperation, specifically the exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports. This measure aims to streamline travel procedures and foster closer diplomatic relations between Algeria and Indonesia. The second MoU centers on collaboration in the energy and mining sectors, indicating a commitment to mutual development in these areas.
