Saudi Arabia and Kosovo sign visa waiver for diplomatic and special passports.
In a significant diplomatic move, on January 9, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Kosovo have entered into a joint agreement, mutually exempting holders of diplomatic and special passports from visa requirements.
The agreement was officially signed by Mr. Waleed Elkhereiji, Saudi Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Kreshnik Ahmeti, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo. The signing ceremony was held during a reception organized by Mr. Elkhereiji in honor of Mr. Ahmeti’s visit. Prominent attendees included Prince Saad bin Mansour Al Saud, Director General of the General Administration for European Countries, and Mr. Lulzim Mjeku, the Kosovar Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
This landmark accord aims to foster stronger diplomatic ties and facilitate seamless travel for individuals holding these specific passport categories. The agreement underscores the commitment of both nations to enhance diplomatic relations and promote ease of movement for designated passport holders.
